Any places around Central FL to stay at, and have your boat already in the water?

We recently stayed at Blaire's Jungle Den, and had a great time. I am new to boating, and wonder were else there is to stay where you can have your boat in the water, and ready to go. Also, my wife and I are always looking for little events, parties, and weekend get aways. I currently have a 16 ft. CC. Thanks! Hope to hear from someone soon. I heard there is a party on Memorial Day weekend? where are the hot spots! Alan

How was Blaire's Jungle Den. Looking for someplace to camp with our RV and boat in fresh water. Have you seen any other places in that area (Astor).
blaires was a lot of fun.. we are thinking about going back there soon. Great little ride up the river, and then on the silver glen. as far as other places around there.. not really sure.. =(
How far by river is the glen from there. Is it no wake zone or can you cruise. I believe Blaires does have a campground.
From Blairs Den its a good 20 miles up river maybe more. Very few no wake zones but a beautiful ride early in the morning before things get crowded. During the summer there is always partying going on at the Glen. Alcohol is to be consumed outside the Glenn but if you are cool about it and don't display it make your drinks ahead of time and pour them in cups. That what most do. Enjoy!

On the other side of Lake George, the north side, is a small place called Corky's or Porky's, small little place on the water with a good fried food restaraunt and bar. It has about 10 rooms for rent, nothing fancy but the fishing is good.

A great saltwater place is in Fort Pierce, the Dockside Inn. Great place with lots of boat slips and you can fish the intercoastal or offshore along the beaches.
I just stayed at a great little beach house in Hudson. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, very cute, and the best part!!! It has a ramp to put the boat in, and a floating dock to tie up. 5 mins. to the gulf!! We stayed over memorial day weekend, and had a great time!! It is on a canal, and during low tide, you have to be aware of the markers and stay right in the middle. Let me know if you want the info! The people who own it are very nice!

Lake TOHO information request

I am on the West Coast and thought about bringing the boat over and checking out Lake Toho over the Memorial Day weekend. Can anyone give me some insight on what to expect.  Most of the information I can find is on the fishing but we are more into the raft ups and just enjoying the boating experience.  Any advice or warnings would be greatly appreciated. See More
