I just want to thank Jason Short from Mount Dora Boating Center and Marina for the invitation to the trip to St. Augustine this past weekend. This was a great outing on the Intracostal. A total of 7 vessels participated on a journey that started on the Halifax Marina in Daytona with arrival to the St. Augustine Municipal Marina. It was a lot of fun! It was nice to see old friends and meet new ones! I recomend this trip to anyone! St. Augustine is a beautiful city full of history and charm!

I will let you know next time. This group plans many outings during the year and they are all great. Mount Dora Marina will be celebrating their 40th anniversary on June 12 with a big party! You can contact them for more info. I think the invitation is open to evreyone.

I am on the West Coast and thought about bringing the boat over and checking out Lake Toho over the Memorial Day weekend. Can anyone give me some insight on what to expect. Most of the information I can find is on the fishing but we are more into the raft ups and just enjoying the boating experience. Any advice or warnings would be greatly appreciated. See More
