"T" Top Canvas replacement
Hello Fellow Boaters, My boat "T" Top Canvas needs replacement and wondering if any one knows where to go in Orlando or East Coast? A feed back would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Well since your boat is already in Deland. I have an upholstry guy too. LOL. He is an older guy by the name of Avery Phillips. He told me like $300 to do a complete custom Bimini top, including poles and mounts. Mine is completely gone right now. He did our seats, and we got one hell of a deal. They are not perfect, but for the price he charged us they look fantastic. He showed us some of his canvas work and it looked great. Give him a call at 386-740-8600. His shop is off Deleware Avenue, but he only works by appointment. Super nice guy.

I called about 5 differant people about upholstery and 3 never showed up for the appt I made, one came out and measured and never called back. One other one gave me a price of double what Averycharged me, sight unseen, with pictures. Then when I asked about 2 colors and piping, he said it would be more. This guy showed up when he said he would, gave me a great price, used 2 colors with piping. Then gave me a super low quote on building me a bimini top. I havent had that done yet, but the price was unbeleivable.
I just could not beleive how many people just blew me off. I was just excited that he showed up when he said he would and gave me a great price, then followed through.

hey john i need an update of the company who does refab of the t top replacement job i will want to have it done some time on january, is there any one who does the job in capecanaveral marina? let me know thanks!

Not sure. I have only used the guy in Deland. I have since bought a new boat, so, hopefully I wont have to get anymore work done for a while.

I am on the West Coast and thought about bringing the boat over and checking out Lake Toho over the Memorial Day weekend. Can anyone give me some insight on what to expect. Most of the information I can find is on the fishing but we are more into the raft ups and just enjoying the boating experience. Any advice or warnings would be greatly appreciated. See More
