Anyone going? I have never been before, but heading out tomorrow to check it out as I've heard it's a lot of fun. Hopefully it won't be too cold!!

disappearing island is awesome!! In the summers its more enjoyable weather wise, but on the july 4th, memorial day holidays, its definitely the place to be. They usually build a stage and have a live band play. Its awesome!

That sounds awesome! Is the majority of the ride a no-wake zone, or is it really just that far? Also, how is the actual water...shallow? many hazards? I am relatively new to this boat, so I am trying to take easy trips to begin with.

I loved it!! Got out there a bit late, around 3ish, so most everyone was leaving. Had a nice time though. The ride out was great and was approximately 4 miles. We launched from a ramp in New Smyrna, can't recall name, it was off of N. Causeway.…
